Getting Pregnant Over 45-Is It Still Possible At This Age?

Getting pregnant over 45 may seem impossible but it happens all the time. The key to the whole process is keeping a positive attitude and being willing to try every available option.

There are all kinds of reason why women wait so long to have children. Perhaps, you were busy with your career and time just sort of slipped away. Maybe, you were married a little later in life but still want to have a family.

We all need to have a sense of purpose in our lives. We, as women, have that strong urge to bring life into this world. It just never goes away does it?

When you begin to realize that something is missing in your life it may seem as if it's too late. Nothing could be further from the truth!

A 50 year old woman has approximately 1,000 in her ovaries. That is in comparison to the 1 million that she started out with. Some of our bodily functions slow down whether we like it or not.

Whatever the circumstances are the good news is that getting pregnant over 45 is not an impossibility. There is no doubt that the odds are a lot slimmer for success at this point though.

Wouldn't it be great if there was some kind of a magical pill that we could take to reverse time? Let's be honest, many women are just not ready to have a family emotionally or financially in their twenties or even into their thirties.

Having children is always a double edged sword. There are so many good times and happy memories. The tough times can be tough! What would the world be like without children though?

The bottom line is this: getting pregnant over 45 is certainly possible and very common place. The key to the process is being open to different approaches that you may not have considered before.

Many women fail don't understand how much importance their lifestyle has in the whole process. If you aren't eating well balanced meals and getting plent of sleep you aren't helping yourself. Smoking is never a healthy thing but you should quit if you can now.

All of these things will make a difference when trying to figure out how to increase fertility after 35 and beyond.
